Pinterest predicts 2025
Every December, Pinterest drops the trends set to define the year ahead in the Pinterest Predicts trend report. Built from platform research and crafted by our House of Creative team, these trends aren’t just ones to follow—they’re made for audiences to experiment with, pin, shop, and share.
For 2025, we went bigger than ever before. Our goal? Make Pinterest Predicts the cultural go-to for both consumers and advertisers. With a trend reveal video and a full-blown comms plan, we teased, launched, and invited everyone to “Try on the trends of 2025.”

2025’s trendscapes
We partnered with celebrity photographer and director Charlotte Rutherford and set designer Liam Moore to create 20 immersive “trendscapes” for 2025—packed with ideas and shoppable finds.

pre-launch
In the days before launch, we wiped our IG grid and shared a series of teasers: a personal invitation to try on the trends and a sneak peek trailer.
GUESS THE TRENDS
For the first time ever, we invited folks to predict next year’s trends with a teaser film prompting them to drop their guesses before launch day.
LAUNCH
We dropped videos for both consumers and advertisers across our business site and socials, giving them a chance to get ahead of the trends. Consumers were invited to “try on” the trends early, while advertisers got the scoop on how Predicts drives results.
The Trend Report
I was part of the writing team that named the trends and wrote blurbs that made it to the site and trend report.
