Vote It Forward 2020

My friends and I created a campaign during the 2020 election to encourage voting by reminding people of the true power behind their ballots. Instead of just focusing on candidates, our campaign highlighted the meaning and impact of each vote. In partnership with Love Has No Labels and Trump Against Trump.

Imagine an election where our feeds, streets and lives weren’t bombarded with propaganda about being red versus blue.
Where “The power to the people” doesn’t feel like an overpromise, and where everyone is asked:
“What are you voting for?” — instead of just who.

This isn’t a campaign for a candidate. It’s a campaign for the people.
The campaign for just voting.

Because our vote is our voice. Our reason. Our actionable demand every 4-8 years.
That goes beyond any speech, petition, protest or donation.
It’s our chance to take back the power and shape our country how we choose to.

So, vote it forward. For yourself. For others. For the life you want to live.
For the generations ahead, and for everything you believe in.
VOTE IT FORWARD

In the weeks leading up to the election, we crafted and posted wild signage all across nyc, officially launching our campaign.

online, WE SUBVERTED REALITY WITH COUNTER-PROPAGANDA.

We “virtually hi-jacked” real-life messages and placements with our message to “Vote It Forward.”
Piquing the curiosity of our followers, and making it seem as though the call to action was spotted everywhere.
