Spotify’s year in review campaign called “Spotify Wrapped” is their most anticipated day by listeners. Where subscribers from all across the globe receive fun facts about their listening data from their entire year.

In 2022, Spotify wanted to kick things up a notch. Instead of having listeners receive and share their Wrapped in a fun way, we gamified the experience so they could play it.

WE crafted A VERY LOCAL OOH EXPERIENCE for real new yorkers…

Using New York City -specific listening data, we built an interactive board in Manhattan. We designed the board with four games — maps, fill-in-the-blank, matching, and tap-to-reveal. Each game came to life on a touchscreen surrounded by colorful Wrapped walls. This location-based game expanded to key cities across the U.S.

WE CREATED ‘GUESS MY WRAPPED’

We we created a bespoke card game for players called Guess My Wrapped. A trivia-style card game featuring questions about the team’s 2022 Wrapped in review. On social— we captured the players reactions to quizzing one another, and broke the results to fans on Launch Day. For OOH, we took over Spotify’s Camp Nou stadium and shops with trivia-style questions about player’s ‘22 Wrapped results.
